Excessive iron issues in your water is typically characterized by the ugly red or brown colored staining in your plumbing fixtures, sinks, toilets and laundry.
With well water, iron typically occurs in a ferrous state. That means, the flowing water typically looks clear.
However, once the water is exposed to the air, the iron transforms into a ferric/ oxidized state. The clear water will turn red or brown and insoluble “rust” type material will form.
Iron staining can be easily caused by as low as only 0.3 milligrams per liter (mg/L).
Depending on the iron content concentration, we have several solutions to this ugly and aggravating water problem.
A quality iron filter will filter out this excessive iron content.

About Acidic Water Issues
That dreaded green-blue staining on your fixtures?
If you get blue or green stains on your fixtures or around drains, it is usually due to having corrosive acidic water.
Corrosive acidic water has a level less than 7.0 pH.
Corrosive acidic water causes the blue and green staining that you see around your fixtures and draining. This is from your copper pipes deteriorating into your water and appearing on fixtures and drains.
If you let this occur for too long your plumbing will start leaking and may cause major water damage and mold. Your property will need to a full re-pipe replacement.
A quality pH neutralizer filter will raise the pH level to 7.0 or above, which is a neutral state (no longer acidic water).
Advanced Air Induction Oxidation Technology
How Does AIO TECH+ work?
This filter works by supplementing oxygen to incoming water via a bubble of compressed air.
The oxygenated water then passes through a specialized filter bed. As water passes through this AIO designed iron filter and the oxygen is depleted, the media attracts and filters out iron, sulfur and manganese.
Automatically, the system will then start the regeneration process to backwash out the iron trapped in the media bed and replenish the oxygen supply.

Minimum Water Flow Rate Required:
The size of an iron filter or pH neutralizer system is dependent on the flow rate from your well pump.
Please check your flow rate to select the properly sized system.
Do not select a system that requires a higher flow rate.
>>>> Get your Flow Rate:
- Shut-off all faucets and make sure there is no running water.
- Place a 5 gallon bucket by a hose bib (spigot) near your well pump.
- Fully open the water hose bib until the well pump starts.
- Then, start filling up your 5 gallon bucket, and time how many seconds it takes to fill it up.
- Use the chart the following chart to get your flow rate.

The 8% resin will last up to 20 years depending on water quality and usage. Water quality will affect longevity, especially with well water.
Recommendations Regarding Salt (Well Water):
• When the brine tank is almost empty, add 1-3 bags at that time only. This will help reduce bridging and mushing.
• Type of Salt & Potassium Chloride should be pellet or coarse crystals.
